Tim Moran, Managing Partner of Moran & Company Investment Consulting Group, has been recognized by Wells Fargo Financial Network as a Premier Advisor since 2006, a member of a select group of the firm’s top Financial Advisors in the country.  He was also named to their Chairman’s Council in 2012. 

Tim has received the 5 Star Wealth Manager award for the past four years. The Moran team was featured in HOUR Detroit magazine and in the DBusiness magazine. His experience in wealth management, and outstanding level of commitment to clients, is evidenced in the recognition he receives, distinction reflecting Tim’s achievement of professional success. 

Tim began his career with the investment firm Smith Barney in 1990 and founded Moran & Company Investment Consulting Group in 1997. He holds a degree in Finance from Michigan State University, and is Series 7, 8, 51, 63 and 65 securities registered. 

He is dedicated both professionally and personally. A devoted family man, Tim is married and active with a son and daughter. He enjoys free time fishing, is an avid reader and a runner - he has competed in two marathons. He is a member of the Rochester Chamber of Commerce, and an active member of the Rochester Community Foundation. He places a great emphasis on participation and contribution to local charities and philanthropic opportunities. His commitments include Paint A Miracle Studio, S.O.U.L., and the Robby Atherton Foundation.
